The Right Candidate

 

As an entrepreneur and business owner for over 27 years, Sebastian Benitez knows what it takes to succeed. His strong work ethic and quality is unmatched, a trait he passed on to his sons. He’s learned to be frugal, responsible and get the job done right, the first time. He’s earned the trust of his customers and strives to serve the community at large.

 

When Ogden needed sidewalks, Sebastian saw that they were installed. When the school board wanted to close Wasatch Elementary, Sebastian fought to keep it open. There is now a beautiful addition on the school. Sebastian is a true advocate for Ogden.

Born in Barcelona, Spain and raised in Paraguay, Sebastian is the youngest of five children. His father was an officer in the Paraguayan Navy and his mother was an oncologist. He was blessed to travel with his parents and they took him everywhere, which influenced his love for culture and travel.

 

Sebastian served five years in the Paraguayan Navy, speaks multiple languages and has lived in Spain, Paraguay and several countries in South America. He is now a proud citizen of the United States and loves living in Ogden, UT, where he chose to raise his family and run his business. Sebastian and his wife, Alicia, have been married for 34 years and are the proud parents of five sons.

 

Sebastian is a licensed electrician and spent a decade selling solar equipment in Paraguay. He has a degree in Business Administration and will start a master’s program in Public Administration when he retires. Sebastian is a strong contributor to Ogden's economy and culture. As an Owner/Operator of Intermountain Cleaning Services, he works continuously to keep Ogden beautiful, one home at a time.
